Hi! I’m Maria

In a fast-moving world, Maria is not afraid to take her time. She says she puts her soul into every haircut, every client — and it shows.

Just look at the numbers. She has more than 700  registered clients, more than 100 five-star ratings and she’s often fully booked weeks in advance.

Maria takes pride in delivering an excellent cut every time, so it’s no surprise that some of her regular customers have been coming to her for almost a decade. But her success has taken a lot of hard work, long days and busy weekends.

In fact, when she first arrived in Cork from Moldova she didn’t speak enough English to get a job at a restaurant. She started from scratch. She took English classes and worked on turning her hairdressing hobby into a career.

Looking back, she is understandably proud of what she has achieved. But she is not someone who likes to stand still. 

She started her own business because she wanted to give customers more, more than they were getting elsewhere.
